Welcome to World Partnership Walk 2019!

The U of C Ismaili Students' Association endeavours to enhance the unity and quality of life of ISA members through educational, social, cultural, recreational, health, and leadership activities and services, doing so effectively and efficiently, in collaboration with partnership institutions and in accordance with the Ismaili principles and ethics. However, we do not just want to improve the lives of students in Calgary, we want to help those around the world, and to do this we are starting this team to make our contribution to the AKFC and all the work that is being done to better the lives of millions of people.

An initiative of Aga Khan Foundation Canada (AKFC), the Walk is Canada’s largest movement dedicated to raising funds and increasing awareness to fight global poverty. The Walk attracts 40,000 participants every year from 10 cities across Canada, and has raised over $100 million since it began in 1985.

The funds we raise as a team will support programs that help millions of people in Africa and Asia lift themselves out of poverty and unlock their potential to build a better life.

With your support, together we can unlock opportunities for individuals around the world!
